Dalton McGinnis posted a top-five finish to pace Southeastern to a sixth-place finish at the Great American Conference Preview at Lake Hefner Golf Course in Edmond, Okla.

The Savage Storm posted a 285 in the first round on Monday and added a 282 on the second circuit of the course before closing out the event with a 291 on Tuesday for a three-round score of 858.

SE finished 10 shots behind Harding in fifth place, and 17 shots ahead of Southern Nazarene's B team.

Cameron took home the top spot in the tournament with an 829, followed by Oklahoma Christian with an 839.

McGinnis fired back to back rounds of 68 on Monday before closing out the week with a 71 on Tuesday to card a nine-under 207 for the tourney.

Jesse Rouse was the next Storm golfer in with a one-under-par 215 after improving in every round, starting with a 74, followed by a 72 and a 69 to finish tied for 20
th.

Triston Burnham was four shots behind Rouse after turning in an opening round 70 followed by a 72 and a 77 to finish the week with a 219 in a tie for 25
th.

Mathew O'Steen was one shot back of that with a 220 over 56 holes after rounds of 74, 70, and 76 to finish 27
th.

Nick Keuss was next in after carding a 73 to open the week followed by back-to-back rounds of 75, posting a 223 to finish 31
st.

Trent Pollard rounded out the Storm golfers with a 224 to finish tied for 32
nd after posting rounds of 71, 76, and 77.

Southeastern will return to action Sept. 18-19 for the NSU Men's Invitational at the Muskogee CC in Muskogee, Okla.
