SE Set to Face NSU in Season's First Road Trip

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will make its first road trip of the season when it travels to Tahlequah, Okla, to take on Northeastern State in a non-conference, midweek matchup on Feb. 13 at 2 p.m.
 
The Savage Storm enter the contest with a 6-1 record and will be seeking revenge for their lone loss on the year which was suffered last Tuesday with a 5-3 loss to the Riverhawks
 
SE is paced on offense by five players who are hitting better than .300, with Nick Hill leading the charge as he has piled up a .526 average with two doubles, two home runs, six RBI, and seven runs scored.
 
Reid Rice is next up with a .400 average that includes a triple, three homers, and six RBI.
 
Damon Burroughs, Coby Grimsley, and John David Muse are hitting .333 or better, with Burroughs clubbing two homers with five RBI, while Grimsley and Muse each have a homer.
 
Wesley Mitchell leads the team with 10 RBI and matches Rice with three home runs.
 
Brett Tanksley got the start in last week's matchup with NSU, and he comes into he contest with a 3.86 record across his two appearances.
 
The Storm pitching staff features four relievers who have made multiple appearances without allowing an earned run, while Brody Logsdon has picked up the only save and tossed 5.1 innings across five appearances.
 
The Riverhawks come into the matchup with a 4-r record, winning four-straight after opening the season with four losses.
 
Christian Johnson got the start for NSU when the team's met previously and tossed 4.1 innings before Grant Parr came on to earn the win and Cole White the save.
 
The offense is paced by CD White and Tyson Fourkiller who are each hitting .400 on the year, with White adding a double, two triples, three homers, and 16 RBI.
