DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball is finally set to open the home portion of its schedule when it welcomes Southwestern Oklahoma State for a three-game series March 1-2 at the Southeastern Softball Field.

The Savage Storm open play at 3 p.m. with a single game on March 1 followed by a noon doubleheader on Saturday, March 2.

SE comes into the weekend with a 7-8 record overall and a 1-2 mark in Great American Conference play.

The Storm offense is led by
Gracie Ore's .429 average, while

Kamryn Rackley,
Sabetha Sands,
India McMurray, and
Kady Fryrear are all hitting better than .300.

McMurray leads the squad in power numbers with five homes and 11 RBI, while Harlow has matched her in runs driven in with 11.

SE has four pitchers who have recorded three or more starts, with
Amberlyn Walsworth leading that group with a 3-0 record and a 3.90 ERA with 21 strikeouts, while all four have logged at least one victory.

The Bulldogs come into the weekend with a 6-8 record overall and are 3-0 in league play after sweeping Ouachita Baptist over the opening weekend.

SWOSU is led on offense by Rebena Fajardo with a .387 average, while Chesnie Hewitt has two homers, and Maddie Rahon leads the team with 10 RBI.
