Baseball Set to Host ATU for Sunday/Monday Series

DURANT, Okla. – After weather tweaked the weekend schedule, Southeastern baseball will now open its second-to-last home series on April 21 versus Arkansas tech with a 2 p.m. single game followed by an April 22 doubleheader set for 1 p.m., with all three games played at Mike Metheny Field.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 15-28 record overall on the season and a 5-22 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
Cache Stone paces the Storm offense with a .389 average, followed by Nick Hill at .356, with Damon Burroughs, Brady Evans, Cameron Cromer, Wesley Mitchell, and Austin Thorp all hitting better than .300.
 
Reid Rice and Hill lead the way with 28 RBI each, while Rice's nine home runs paces the squad.
 
Cameron Hauch leads the Storm starters on the hill with a 6.49 ERA with a team-best 47 strikeouts, while Jackson Sioson is next in line with a 7.71 ERA and 43 K's.
 
The Wonder Boys enter the weekend at 28-13 overall on the season and 19-8 in GAC play.
 
ATU is led on offense by Keaton Ranallo who is hitting .365 on the season with nine home runs and 44 RBI.
 
John Gray leads the Wonder Boy starters with a 3.29 ERA and a 6-2 record with 56 strikeouts.
