DURANT, Okla. – With thunderstorms predicted throughout the weekend, Southeastern's three-game series against Southern Arkansas has been moved up to begin on April 25 with a doubleheader slated for 1 p.m., with the final game of the series set for April 26 at 1 p.m., all at the Southeastern Softball Field.

Friday's contest will also serve as senior day for the Savage Storm as nine players who will be exhausting their eligibility will be recognized, while two others will be presented as graduates due to the likelihood of missing SE's graduation ceremony which is scheduled at the same time as the conference tournament.

Southeastern comes into he weekend with a 23-26 record overall on the season and a15-15 mark in Great American Conference play with three-games remaining, having locked up a berth in the league's postseason tournament but looking to improve its seeding.

Kady Fryrear leads the way for the Storm with a .367 average with 11 doubles, a triple, two home runs and 21 RBI.

Gracie Ore is next in line with a .358 mark, three homers and 24 RBI, while
Sage Harlow is hitting .331 with 10 doubles, three home runs and a team-high 30 RBI.

Ananda Garrison are each hitting .300 or better.

Emily Simmons leads the pitching staff with eight wins and a 3.27 ERA that includes three shutouts and a team-best 80 strikeouts.

SAU enters the weekend with a 31-14 record overall on the season and a 20-10 mark in GAC play.

The Muleriders are led by Regan Dillon who is hitting .354 on the year with 13 doubles, 10 home runs and 39 RBI, all team highs.

Sydney Ward and Brinson Rogers carry matching 14-7 records in the circle, with Ward posting a 1.45 ERA and 127 strikeouts, while Rogers has a 1.62 ERA and a team-best 186 strikeouts.
