MUSKOGEE, Okla. – After two rounds of play at the NSU Men's Golf Classic, the Southeastern Oklahoma State men's golf team is tied for sixth with a score of 5-over 573.

No. 19 Henderson State leads the 17-team field after turning in a 13-under 555 on the first day. Harding (2
nd) and Southern Arkansas (3
rd) round out the under-par scores for the day with a 10-under 558 and 6-under 562, respectively. Southeastern is tied with Central Missouri at +5 and is just one shot back of fifth place Fort Hays State.

Pacing the SE five-bag,
Jesse Rouse turned in low scores across the two rounds to finish the first day 6-under 136 after shooting 3-under 68 in both rounds and is 2
nd on the player leaderboard. Rouse had 12 birdies on the day, including five straight on the back nine of the second round. The Kingston, Okla. native's 6-under 136 across 36 holes is tied for the seventh-lowest round over two rounds for the Savage Storm.

Trent Pollard is tied for 29
th with a 36-hole score of 2-over 144. Pollard posted a 1-under 70 in the first round with four birdies and added another three in the second round after shooting 3-over 74. Just behind Pollard,
Nicholas Martin turned in a 3-over 145, shooting 1-over 71 in the first round and 2-over 73 in the second. Martin tallied four birdies on the day and is tied for 37
th.

Rounding out the SE five-bag,
Tristun Burnham (T79th) and
Jesse Tandoy (T88
th) shot 10-over 152 and 14-over 156, respectively. The pair combined for seven birdies across the 36 holes played on the first day. Southeastern wraps up the NSU Golf Classic tomorrow with one more round at the Par 71 Muskogee Country Club.
