MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – The first day of play at the MSSU Fall Invitational ends early due to inclement weather. Southeastern Oklahoma State is 16
th after one round of play with a score of 31-over 319.

The tournament will now be a 36-hole event after the first holes of the second round were scratched due to the weather.

Southwestern Oklahoma State leads the field of teams after one round of play, shooting 4-under 284. Arkansas Tech was the only other team to shoot par or better in round one after turning in an even-par 288. Missouri Western (3
rd) and Fort Hays State (4
th) check in next with scores of 3-over 291 and 4-over 292, respectively, while Friends University rounds out the top five in fifth at 6-over 294.

In his first collegiate tournament,
Bo Gentry leads the Savage Storm lineup at the end of the first round with a score of 5-over 77. Just behind,
Nicholas Martin turned in a 7-over 79 for his first time through the 18 holes at Par 72 course.

Jesse Tandoy shot 9-over 81 on the day, while
Jesse Rouse carded a 10-over 82 his first time through the course. Rounding out the SE five-bag,
Trent Pollard turned in a 13-over 85.

Southeastern Oklahoma State will look to climb the leaderboard tomorrow in the final round of the MSSU Fall Invitational from the Par 72 Shangri-La Country Club.
