Southeastern picked up its second consecutive sweep last time out, with a 3-0 road win at Northwestern Oklahoma State to complete the season sweep. The win for the Storm moved them to 4-10 in the conference standings, and they are 9-17 overall.

With two matches remaining in the regular season, Southeastern remains in the hunt for a spot at the conference tournament. The Storm are tied for ninth with Southern Nazarene and will need to win their final two matches and get some help from other league teams in order to secure a top-eight finish. Five teams have already locked up a spot in the conference tournament, while five teams battle for the final three spots.

Jasmin Dion orchestrated the attack for the blue and gold in the last two matches, racking up 52 assists. The freshman from Cedar Park, Texas, has tallied 20 or more assists in her last six matches, helping reach 600 assists this season. Dion ranks third in the GAC in assists, averaging 7.14 per set – the most by a freshman in the conference. As a team, the blue and gold ranks eighth in the league in assists per set, averaging 10.76.

Continuing to lead the SE offense, Alaina Armstrong had her most productive week in attack, slamming down 22 kills across the wins versus ECU and NWOSU. Since moving into the starting role against Ouachita Baptist on October 17, Armstrong has led the team in kills with 53 and is averaging a team-high 2.65 kills per set. On the year, Rocha paces the Storm with 2.23 kills per set for 192 total kills and is eying her third straight season with 200 or more kills.

SCOUTING SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE

SWOSU started the week with a 3-1 win over Oklahoma Baptist at home before falling on the road to East Central. Southwestern Oklahoma State carries a 10-4 GAC record into Tuesday and is 12-14 overall.
