CLEVELAND, Miss. – Southeastern moves up to fifth on the final day of the Derrall Foreman Invitational, finishing with a three-round score of 11-over 875. The Savage Storm shot 3-over 291 in round three from the Par 72 Cleveland Country Club.
Arkansas Tech placed first with a 54-hole score of 27-under 837, and Mississippi College finished with the only other score par or better, shooting even-par 289. Delta State ended third at 2-over Par, and Trevecca Nazarene rounded out the top five in fourth at 10-over 874.
Jesse Tandoy went low again in the third round, shooting 3-under 69 with a flawless front nine. Tandoy tallied five birdies for the day, including four in the front half, to end the tournament with 15 birdies for the event. The freshman ended the 54-hole event tied for fourth with a score of 4-under 212. Joining Tandoy in the top 10,
Jesse Rouse turned in an even-par 216 to place tied for ninth after shooting even-par in all three rounds.
Trent Pollard finished 28
th individually with a score of 8-over 224, following a 5-over 77 round three. Pollard tallied five birdies on the day and had 10 for the event.
Christian Vining moved up three spots on the individual leaderboard on the last day, carding a 2-over 74. The sophomore from Silo, Okla. shot 11-over 227 for the event with nine birdies.
Nicholas Martin turned his best individual round of the event on day two, turning in a 4-over 76 in round three. The Frisco, Texas native placed in a tie for 36
th on the individual leaderboard with a 54-hole score of 15-over 231. Southeastern heads to the Natural State for its next outing at the Arkansas Collegiate in El Dorado, Ark., on Mar. 24 and 25.
