SE Baseball Set to Host Ranked Harding

DURANT, Okla. – After a near three-week break from home competition, Southeastern is set to return to Mike Metheny Field when it hosts a three-game series versus No. 17 Harding, with the opener set for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m., with the final two games slated for noon on Saturday, March 22.
 
The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 101-6 record overall on the season and an 8-7 record in Great American Conference play.
 
The SE offense is led by Wesley Mitchell who is hitting .349 with six doubles, seven home runs, and 25 RBI.
 
Chase Keeton, Colton Sagely, and Coby Grimsley are each also hitting better than .300, with Keeton matching the team-high of seven homers, while Keeton, Brady Evans, Ryan Kirk, and Grimsley each have double-digit RBI totals.
 
Daniel Collins leads the Southeastern pitching staff with a 3.27 ERA across 33 innings in seven starts while striking out 37 and holding opponents to a .242 batting average.
 
Cody Pfeffer has picked up a team-high three wins over eight relief outings, while Carson Abbot has two of the teams six saves.
 
The Bisons enter the weekend with a 21-5 record overall and a 12-3 mark in GAC play.
 
They are led by Collin Helms who is hitting .410, while Logan Lacey has a team-high seven homers, and the duo each have 27 RBI.
 
Maddox Long leads the HU pitching staff with a 6-1 record and a 0.77 ERA, while Javier Lobo has a pair of saves.
