ROGERS, Ark. – Southeastern Oklahoma State placed 15
th at the shortened Shadow Valley Invitational after the completion of the second round. The Savage Storm shot 72-over 648 across the 36 holes following a 40-over 328 round two.
No. 21 Harding topped the leaderboard at 24-over 600 to win the tournament, while Arkansas Tech (+28) and Henderson State (+29) finished second and third, respectively. UT Permian Basin placed fourth with a 36-hole score of 35-over 611, and Missouri Western rounded out the top five in fifth at 36-over 612.
Leading the Storm over the two rounds of play was
Jesse Rouse, who shot 13-over 157 over the two days. Rouse turned in an 8-over 80 score for the second round to place tied for 38
th individually.
Trent Pollard carded an 8-over 80 in round two to end the tournament tied for 48
th with a score of 15-over 159.
Nicholas Martin completed the invitational tied for 76
th individually with a two-round score of 23-over 167. After turning in a 9-over 81 in the opening round, Martin recorded a 14-over 86 his second time through the course.
Jesse Tandoy tallied his best score of the tournament in the second round, with a 10-over 72 to finish 32-over 176 in 90
th. Rounding out the SE five-bag,
Tristun Burnham (94th) shot 39-over 183 across the two rounds.
Southeastern is back on the course again on Monday, Mar. 10, at the Darrell Foreman Invitational, hosted by Delta State at the Cleveland Country Club.
