Baseball Set for Road Series vs. Rangers

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern baseball is set for its first in-state conference road swing after a six-game home stand as it travels to Alva, Okla., to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State with the opener slated for March 7 at 6 p.m. followed by a 1 p.m. doubleheader on March 8.
 
The Savage Storm enter the series with a 7-10 record overall on the season and a 6-3 mark in Great American Conference play.
 
SE is paced on the season by Wesley Mitchell who ranks in the top 10 in the GAC in average, slugging percentage, hits, RBI, and home runs. He is hitting .397 with six homers and 21 RBI along with four doubles.
 
He is joined above the .300 mark by Ryan Kirk who is hitting .339 with four homers and 18 RBI, Alex Showalter at .355, and Colton Sagely who is hitting .353.
