DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern closes out the regular season with a back-and-forth battle with Harding, but falls short 4-3 on Friday evening.

Harding held the early advantage in the match, winning the doubles point with victories at the No. 1 and 2 lines. SE would pick up a win at court three with a 7-5 win from the partnership of
Emilse Ruiz and
Amishi Shukla.

The Storm soon found their first lead of the match, as
Sara Gonzalez and Ruiz earned wins in straight sets at No. 6 and No. 3. Gonzalez won at No. 6 over Harding's Natalia Alvarez 6-1 and 6-3, while Ruiz got a 6-3 and 6-2 victory at the No. 3 line against Itza Rogel.
The Lady Bisons pushed back in front through their two top-ranked singles players to grab the lead again, 3-2, but SE's
Jou Chen Chen tied it three-all with a win at No. 4, taking sets one and two by scores of 6-3 and 6-4. Down to the final match of singles play, HU's Sofia Ruiz edged out Shukla in three sets to win it for the Lady Bisons.
