KERRVILLE, Texas – Through 36 holes of the Battle of Riverhill, Southeastern is 13
th with a two-round score of 48-over 624. SE turned in a 30-over Par round before posting its best round of the day in the second, shooting 18-over Par.
The hosts, St. Mary's, lead the field with a score of 16-under 570, while both New Mexico Junior College and Odessa posted below-par scores, shooting 8-under 568 and 4-under 572. Among the trio of GAC teams, Arkansas Tech is seventh at 12-over Par, and Arkansas-Monticello holds a 17-stroke edge over the Storm in 12
th.
Trent Pollard on the day with a score of 8-over 152 after carding a 4-over 76 in both rounds. Pollard notched three birdies during the first round, with two coming on the front nine, where he shot 1-over, and added another birdie in the second round to end the day with four.
Jesse Tandoy got the day going with a 5-over 77 round one and followed with a 6-over 78 second round to end the day 11-over 153.
Just one stroke back of Tandoy,
Nicholas Martin shot 12-over 154 with rounds of 11-over 83 and 1-over 73. Martin's 1-over 73 in the second was the best individual round of the day for Storm, and he shot 1-under Par on the front nine with a pair of birdies. Rounding out the day,
Bo Gentry turned a 14-over 158 after back-to-back 7-over 79 rounds, and
Tristun Burnham shot 19-over 163.
Southeastern wraps up competition at the Par 72 Riverhill Country Club with the final round tomorrow.
