SE Baseball Hosts Bulldogs on Tuesday

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to the diamond for a midweek matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 17 when it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State in a non-conference matchup at Mike Metheny Field.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contest with a 4-4 record overall following a series victory over Ouachita Baptist.
 
SE is paced by a foursome of hitters batting .300 or better, led by Isaac Villa who carries a .414 average, while Carter Olson and JJ Bush are hitting .379 and .367, respectively, with three home runs each.
 
Cody Pfeffer leads the pitching staff with a 1.08 ERA and a save across two starts in 8.1 innings pitched while Estevan Fonseca has a team-best 10 strikeouts.
 
SWOSU enters the weekend at 8-4 overall following a 2-1 series loss at Arkansas Tech.
 
Landon Myer leads the Bulldogs with a .457 average and four homers, while Drew Fifer has a team-best 2-1 record and a 3.77 ERA in three starts.
