Bush Picks Up GAC Weekly Award

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern senior outfielder JJ Bush has been named the Great American Cofnerence Player of the Week following his efforts in leading the Savage Storm to a series victory over Ouachita Baptist last week.
 
Bush finished the three-game series hitting .538 with three doubles and two home runs while driving in six runs.
 
He posted a trio of hits in each of the first two games and added another in the finale.
 
He would drive in at least a run in each contest, including three in the opener.
 
Bush and the Storm are back in action on Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. when it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State at Mike Metheny Field.
