DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern grabbed its third consecutive win on Tuesday afternoon, defeating Arkansas-Fort Smith 4-0 at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

SE led 1-0 at the end of the doubles round after picking up the point with a win at Court 2 behind the partnership of
Sophia Brooks-Gay and
Amishi Shukla. The duo made quick work of the Lions' doubles team Antonietta Bocache and Gracie Pereff, winning 6-2.

The Storm carried the momentum into the singles round, as Shukla put in a dominant performance at Court 3 to extend SE's lead to 3-0. The junior from Indore, India, won the first set against Antonietta Bocache 6-3 and followed with another 6-3 set win in the second.

Emilia O'Neill capped off the match for the Storm with a three-set win at No. 2. O'Neill cruised to a 6-0 win in set one, but would fall 7-6 in the second after a 13-11 tie breaker. The freshman bounced back to win the third set 6-2 to clinch the match-winning point for SE, 4-0.

Southeastern (6-7, 0-0 GAC) begins Great American Conference play on Thursday, April 2, at 10 a.m. when Ouachita Baptist visits the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
