DURANT, Okla. –
Caden Bunch earned a bull riding championship and
Kayleah Hurst won the women's all-around and
Lucas Peterson Won the men's all-around as Southeastern picked up nine top-five finishes at the Garden City CC Rodeo.

The men's team turned in a third place finish for the weekend, allowing them to hold onto second place in the region, while the women finished sixth at GCCC but were able to strengthen its hold on second place regionally.

Bunch put up a 76.5 in his first ride in the bull riding event, finishing second in the round, and was the only rider to record a ride in the finals with a 72, winning the round and the average.
Â
Cole Kerner was fourth in the first round with a 74 and would stay fourth in the average.
Â
Regionally, Bunch moved into second place in the Central plains while Kerner is sitting seventh.
Â
Hurst posted an all-around title on the women's side after reaching the finals in both the breakaway and the goat tying.
Peterson turned in a second-place finish in the tie down roping and added points int he steer wrestling as well.

In the bareback riding,
Tyler Griffin turned in a 78.5 on his first ride to finish second in the round and followed with a 77 in the finals which good for third in the round and left him in second place in the average.
Â
Gauge McBride followed with a top-five finish, turning in a 73.5 on his first ride and a 72 on his second to finish fifth in the average.
Â
He was one spot ahead of Kerner who split sixth in the first round with a 71 and was sixth on his own with a 69.5 in the finals, leaving him sixth in the average.
Â
Griffin moved into fifth place in the region in the bareback, while McBride is currently seventh and Kerner is in eighth.

In the tie down,
Lucas Peterson was third in the first round with a time of 9.9 and split third in the finals as well with a 9.8, lifting him to second place in the average.
Â
Blake Carter continues to lead the tie down roping in the region, while Peterson moves up to fifth in the standings.

In the goat tying,
Jillian Presley led a pair of qualifications to the finals after she posted a 7.1 in the first round, with Hurst making her way there on a run of 7.3.
Â
Presley followed with a 6.4 in the finals which was good for third, while Hurst missed the top-six in the round with an 8.2.
Â
Her 6.4 lifted her to fourth in the average for the event and she currently ranks fifth in the region in the vent, while
Lauren Weller is eighth and Hurst is 11
th.

Rowdy Nimrod and Peterson each advanced to the finals in the steer wrestling, with Peterson fourth after the first round.
Â
Nimrod clocked a fourth-place time of 6.1 in the finals to lift himself to fourth in the average, while Peterson turned in an 8.9 on his final run and just missed out on the average.
Â
Nimrod is currently ninth in the region in the event.
Â
SE sent a trio of team ropers to the finals, led by
Cutter Cain who partnered with GCCC's Creek Williams to clock a 5.3 in the first round, winning the round.
Â
Levi James paired up with Murray State's Case Phillips to finish second in the first round with a time of 6.2, while Nimrod teamed with Western Oklahoma State's Braxton Foster to clock a 7.8 and make the final.
Â
All three would miss on their finals runs, with Cain and Williams ultimately turning in a fifth-place finish in the average.
Â
Justin Ochs continues to lead the heelers in the team roping regionally, while Cain ranks 12
th.
Â
Meanwhile, James is the sixth-ranked header in the region.
Â
Jaiden Wilmoth and
Emma Ricke advanced of the finals in the barrel racing, with Wilmoth finishing fourth in the first round on a run of 13.77, while Ricke advances on a time of 13.9.
Â
Wilmoth followed up with a 13.79 in the finals, missing out on a top-six in the round but finishing fifth in the average.
Â
Ricke closed out the event with a 13.73, finishing sixth in the round but missing out on the average.
Â
Ricke holds onto second place in the region among barrel racers, while Wilmoth currently sits eighth.
