DURANT, Okla. – Coming off a series win to end the regular season, Southeastern enters the Great American Conference Tournament as the No. 4 seed and will open play by squaring off against fifth-seeded Southern Arkansas on April 30 at 9:30 p.m. at Majestic Park in Hot Springs, Ark.

The Savage Storm advance to the postseason with a 28-19 record overall on the year and a 19-14 mark in GAC play.

SE is paced on offense by a foursome of hitters, with JJ bush putting up a .363 average with 19 home runs and 49 RBI, while
Carter Olson is right behind with a .357 average 19 home runs and 64 RBI.

Isaac Villa checks in with a .353 average with nine homers, 34 RBI, 22 stolen bases and 59 runs scored, while
Ryan Kirk has put up a .322 effort at the plate with 15 home runs and 52 RBI.

Dylan Hill leads the Storm starting pitchers with a 303 record and a 571 ERA, while
Jacob Fuller has a team-high 41 strikeouts.

Brock Zimmer has the team lead in saves with three across 15 appearances with a 2.61 ERA and a 1-1 record while
Cody Pfeffer is 3-0 on the season with two saves and a 2.73 ERA.

The Storm share a bracket with the last three teams it has played in the regular season, beginning with SAU which SE beat two games to one in Magnolia, Ark., April 19-20.

Southeastern took the opener 6-0 and game two 8-01 before falling in the finale by a 12-7 score.

A win in game one would set up a contest versus the winner of the top-seeded Arkansas-Monticello versus eighth-seeded East Central game.

SE picked up a pair of wins over UAM at Mike Metheny Field on April 10-11 and matched that effort in a series win over ECU to close the regular season April 24-25.

The tournament consists of two, four-team, double elimination brackets that will play out at the same location but independently of one another. The winners of each bracket will then face each other at the home site of the highest remaining seed in a three-game series the following weekend.
