DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern travels to the Natural State to face Arkansas-Monticello in a three-game series on April 10-11. The Savage Storm and Cotton Blossoms open with a doubleheader on Friday at 3 p.m. and will play the series finale at noon on Saturday.

SERIES NOTES
- SE picked up a sweep at home last season against UAM, but will be looking to secure its first series win in Monticello since 2014. The Blossoms have gotten the better of the Storm in SE on their last two visits, winning both series 2-1. Southeastern does lead the all-time series 33-15.

STORM REPORT
Southeastern extended its win streak to five in a row after picking up two wins on the road at UT Dallas. SE exploded for 21 runs over the two games, run-ruling the Comets in both games, 10-2 and 11-2. The pair of victories moves the Storm to 18-21 overall, while 10-11 in the GAC standings.

Tally Rowland was the big bat for the blue and gold on Wednesday, recording two home runs across her three hits, and had six RBIs and four runs scored. Of those two homers, the freshman tallied her third grand slam of the season, and now has four home runs this year, while batting .323 with 20 hits and 18 runs driven in. T. India McMurray, who leads the team with 13. McMurray notched her 13
th in game two against UTD and added two RBIs to her totals, as she now has 29 runs batted in.

The Storm were led in hits by
Iliana Olivares against UT Dallas, as the senior racked up four in six plate appearances and batted in four runs. Olivares ranks second on the team in hits with 48 on a .381 average and has recorded the second-most doubles for the blue and gold with 10 after hitting one in game one.
Susan Edwards joins Olivares in double-figure doubles with a team-high 11, and she leads the lineup with 55 hits, 33 runs scored and two triples.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS-MONTICELLO
Arkansas-Monticello (12-25, 5-16 GAC) has just one GAC series win this year, recently coming against Northwestern Oklahoma State back on March 20 and 21. The Blossoms took 2-of-3 from the Rangers that weekend, but have since lost series to Harding and Ouachita Baptist.

The Blossoms are led at the plate by Dacia Sexton, who has a team-high 29 hits and 17 RBIs, and is batting .261. Sexton is one of six players with a home run, while Jolie Bazan paces UAM with seven doubles on a team-leading .293 average. In the circle, Mackenzie Martin has been the primary arm for UAM, as she leads the team with 97.2 innings of work and a 6-9 record in 24 appearances. Martin holds a 3.51 ERA with 56 strikeouts and has allowed 56 runs on 105 hits this season.
