Box Score PROVO, Utah - Southeastern had a pair of scorers in double-digits with
Antonio Worthy turning in a double-double, but a rough first half of shooting by the Savage Storm and a 51.3 percent shooting night by Brigham Young contributed to the Storm falling to the Cougars 103-57 on Friday night in Provo, Utah.
SE will continue its division I exhibition tour when it travels to San Antonio, Texas for a 7 p.m. contest against Texas-San Antonio on Nov. 1.
Against the Cougars on Friday night Worthy turned in a 12 point and 10 rebound outing, hitting 6-of-12 from the floor and picking up six offensive boards to help SE hold a 12-to-9 edge on the offensive boards.
Urald King led the Storm offensively with 14 points on a 6-of-9 shooting fromt he floor while adding five rebounds in the effort.
Chris Roussell chipped in eight points in the contest, while
Andris Misters and
Andis Malahovskis each tallied six.
The Storm as a team struggled fromt he floor shooting 34.3 percent on the night on 23-of-67 shooting, but really hurt in the first half on 9-of-37 shooting.
The Storm held their own on the boards picking up 42 on the night to BYU's 45 beating the Cougards on the offensive glass by a 12-to-9 margin.
Worthy's 10 boards led the way while
Steven Kohli added six rebounds and King shipped in five.
Roussell added three assists int he contest with three others each dishing out a pair.
BYU was paced by Brandon Davies who posted 25 points in 18 minutes, while Brock Zylstra added 17 and Tyler Haws added 15.
Agustin Ambrosino led the COugars with eight rebounds while Zylstra and Davies each chipped in six boards.
