DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's cross country team saw all five runners improve their times from the season opening meet a week ago en route to a fourth place finish in the college division of the UTA Season Opener in Arlington, Texas on Saturday morning.

The Savage Storm opened the season with a fourth place finish in Tyler, Texas.

Freshman
Bailee Weger once again led the Storm runners, turning in a new best 5K time of 21:24.6 to finish 15
th.

Haylee Story finished right on her heels in 16
th after posting a 21:29.7.

Amanda Kirby was the fourth SE player to finish a week ago but improved her time to a 22:08.7 and was the third player to cross this week, finishing 22
nd overall.

Kayle Reaves followed her in with a 23
rd place finish and a time of 22:31.8.

Shelby Fraser posted the best 5K time improvement last week and once again posted the most improvement in her time, turning in a 23:49.1 to finish 26
th.

Southeastern will be back on the road for a third-straight week when they head to Ruston, La., to compete in the Louisiana Tech Mook 5 Invitational on Sept. 21.
