Â
The split moves the Savage Storm to 13-14 overall on the season with one game remaining in the series against the War Hawks slated for a 1 p.m. first pitch on March 19.
Â
The 22 runs and 25 hits in game two mark the biggest offensive output for SE since a 27-10 win over East Central on April 23, 2010 in a game in which the Storm put up 26 hits.
Â
The game two numbers were impressive as all nine starters recorded hits, eight of the nine posted multiple hits and four players each had four hits.

The Storm scored in every inning except the first and scored two-or-more runs in each of the final six innings.

Jacob Soisson drove in a pair of runs, while four others collected one RBI each.
Â
Salter stole three bases, while Colley and Soisson swiped two each and the Storm tallied nine as a team.
Â
However, it was not a great day for either team's pitching, with SE's pair getting the upper hand despite allowing 10 runs.
Â
Nick Johnson got the start and tossed 4.2 innings, leaving one out shy of earning the decision, as he allowed eight runs, six earned, on five hits with one strikeout.
Â
Dwight Camp picked up the win in relief as he threw 3.1 innings to finish the game and allowed a pair of runs on four hits with four strikeouts.
Â
McMurry used five pitchers in the game, with their starter lasting a team-best 2.1 innings.
Â
The Storm actually started the contest in a 1-0 deficit after the War Hawks posted a run in the bottom of the first, but a Burcham double would score Salter in the top of the second to knot the game at 1-1.
Â
The Storm opened things up in the third inning, first scoring on a Carter sac fly, which was followed by an RBI double by Soisson to extend the lead to 3-1.
Â
Soisson would steal home on a double steal with Salter later in the inning, and that was followed by an RBI single by Bowen to stretch the lead to 5-1.
Â
McMurry answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third to creep closer at 5-3.
Â
A two-run double by Ramsey followed by a Soisson RBI in the top of the fourth would extend the advantage to 8-3.
Â
That would grow to 11-3 one inning later, with Bowen first scoring on a wild pitch, followed by an RBI triple by Springer and an RBI single by Colley.
The War Hawks would answer this time though, using a five-run fifth inning to close to within 11-8.
Â
That was as close as the score would get as Bowen posted a two-run homer in the top of the sixth that was followed by a two-run Springer single that pushed the score back out to 15-8.
Â
McMurry would pick up a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth to close the SE lead to 15-10.
Â
Ramsey would score on a double-steal attempt in the seventh and that was followed by an RBI single by Bowen to push the lead to 17-10.
Â
The Storm picked right back up in the eighth, first unsing a Springer RBI single, followed by a two-run double by Ramsey to push the lead out to 20-10.
Â
A Salter single would then score Ramsey, followed by a Bowen single that plated Carter to wrap up the scoring in a 22-10 victory.
Â
SE got off to a rough start in game one, however, as the War Hawks put up two runs in the first and three more in the third to mount a 5-0 lead.
Â
The Storm rallied in the top of the fourth, first on a Soisson single that plated Carter, followed by an RBI double from Ramsey and a McMurry error that allowed Soisson to score and cut the deficit to 5-3.
Â
That was as close as they would get though as the War Hawks added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and took the game 7-3.
Â
Springer collected a pair of hits, while Soisson, Ramsey and Burcham each drove in a run.
Â
Jonathan Furlong got the start and was hit with the loss after tossing 2.0 innings and allowing two runs on four hits with one strikeout.
Â
