Box Score ABILENE, Texas – Southeastern bounced back from an early 2-0 deficit and scored nine runs over the final three innings to take the series finale over McMurry, 10-2 on Wednesday afternoon in Abilene, Texas.

The win lifts the Savage Storm record to 14-14 heading into a March 23 matchup with Texas A&M-International scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch at The Ballpark in Durant.

The hit parade continued marching on Wednesday as SE piled up 16 hits in the contest, bringing the three-game hit total to 46 for the Storm against the War Hawks.

Evan Ramsey and
Ryan Salter led the charge with three hits each, while
Jacob Carter,
Jacob Soisson,
Chance Burcham and
Cody Coats each tallied two.

Five different players each tallied an RBI as the Storm also took advantage of five McMurry errors en route to the win.

Jaime Paxton got the start and picked up his second win of the year after tossing 6.0 innings and allowing two unearned runs on four hits with six strikeouts.

Mason Crenshaw came on to pick up his sixth save of the season after throwing the final 3.0 innings and scattering just three hits while striking out four.

The War Hawks took advantage of a pair of SE errors in the second inning to jump out to a 2-0 lead.

A Ramsey sac fly in the top of the third answered for the Storm, scoring
Brayon Colley and leaving SE in a 2-1 hole.

That was where the game would stay until the Storm took advantage of a Burcham leadoff single followed by a pair of McMurry errors to load the bases with no outs.

Burcham would then tie the game on a wild pitch, which was followed by a Colley sac fly and a Ramsey RBI single to put SE up 4-2 midway through the seventh.

Then in the eighth inning, Salter would reach on an error and steal second and home to push the Storm lead to 5-2.

Salter opened the scoring in the top of the ninth with an RBI single with the bases loaded that was coupled with a McMurry error that allowed three runs to come in and push the advantage to 8-2.

A Burcham single would score Salter later in the inning and the final run of the day would come on a Coats double that scored Burcham to make the score 10-2.
