The Savage Storm will be aiming to even their record at .500 after picking up a 35-13 win a week ago over Southern Arkansas which lifted them to 4-5 overall and in Great American conference play.

The Boll Weevils enter the weekend with a 1-8 mark on the year overall and in league.

The team's played a nail-biter a season ago in Durant with SE coming out with a 52-49 victory when
Jake Walters hit a 19 yard field goal as time expired.

The Storm used a dominating 35-13 win over the Muleriders to snap a three-game losing streak.
Â
Despite giving up 320 yards through the air to SAU, the SE defense recorded a school-record tying eight sacks and held the visitors to minus-two yards of rushing and 318 yards of total offense.

Devlon Wortham made a resurgence with 71 yards rushing and three touchdowns, while
Ronnie Green turned in his second 100-yard rushing performance of the year, finishing with 115.

The Storm put up 252 yards on the ground and another 209 through the air to post their sixth 400-plus yard total offense outing, finishing with 461.

As a team they enter averaging 32.6 ppg and 435.9 yards per game of total offense, while allowing 29.2 ppg and holding foes to 355.2 ypg.

Ryan Polite has amassed 2,540 yards on the year and is currently sixth on the all-time single season passing list, while his 5,158 yards of passing for his career is good for fifth on the career list.

The Storm currently has three players who have climbed into the career top-5 lists, with Wortham being the fifth Storm running back to cross the 2,000-yard mark and is fifth with 2,138 yards on his career, while also sitting with 25 career rushing touchdowns, just three behind the school record of 28 held by Drew Beard.

Kaymon Farmer has also climbed into the top-5 in receiving yards and is fifth with 1,649 for his career, while also finding himself 12 receptions shy of the school record for career receptions which is 192 and is held by Daniel Nichols.

UAM comes into the contest averaging 312.0 ypg passing and just over 400 yard per game in total offense, but is picking up 95.3 ypg on the ground.

Hunter Leppert leads the offense with 2,564 passing yards and 20 touchdowns, with Cody Bordelon hauling in a team-best 40 receptions and six touchdowns, while Jalen Toliver leads the team in yardage at 655 yards.

Jeremy Jackson leads the rushing attack with 400 yards on the season and three of the team's five rushing scores.

Ofisa Kose leads the defense with 81 tackles on the year, including eight TFL, while Jabari Mathieu has picked up 4.5 sacks on the year.

UAM has forced seven turnovers on the year by snagging four interceptions and recovering three fumbles.
