DURANT, Okla.  – Southeastern completed a three-games in three days conference road trip by sweeping its way through the competition and pushing its league winning streak to four games.

The Savage Storm powered past Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State with wins of 8-1 before heading to Russellville, Ark., and downing Arkansas Tech 5-4.

The wins move the team to 13-4 overall and 4-0 in Great American Conference play heading into an April 7 home matchup against Arkansas-Ft. Smith at the Southeastern tennis Complex.

SE swept doubles play in the win over OBU, with
Alexsandra Reljic and
Maria Martinez taking number one doubles in the closest of the three by an 8-5 score.

Dariaja Catipovic and
Conchi Assiego added an 8-2 win at number two and
Ilga Racika-Racko and Milena VItez polished off the sweep with an 8-1 win at number three.

Reljic pushed the lead to 4-0 with a 7-6, 6-03 win at one singles before OBU picked up a win at two to make the score 4-1.

However, Catipovic would clinch the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win at three.

That was followed by straight-set victories by Martinez at four, Assiego at five and Vitez at six to finish the 8-1 win.

The Storm managed to take two of the three doubles in its win over Henderson State, with Assiego and Catipovic winning 8-4 at two doubles while Racika-Racko and VItez added an 8-1 win at three.

SE would pick up six straight singles wins in straight sets though to pull away for the 8-1 win.

Reljic would leg out a 6-1, 7-6 win at one singles, with Racika-Racko winning at number two, 6-4, 6-1.

Catipovic added a 6-1, 6-4 win at three to clinch the match and Martinez followed with a 6-0, 6-1 win at four.

Vitez then chipped in a 6-4, 6-3 win at three and
Marina Dias completed the match with a 6-4, 6-1 win at six.

SE faced its toughest test of the road trip against ATU.

Reljic and Martinez opened with a hard-fought 9-7 win at one doubles, with Catipovic and Assiego adding an 8-5 win at two which allowed the Storm to take a 2-1 lead to singles play.

Reljic then added a 6-3, 6-4 win at one singles to make the lead 3-1, but ATU responded with wins at two and three to event he match at 3-3.

Martinez had the first answer for Southeastern with a 6-1, 6-1 win at number four, followed by the match-clinching 6-4, 6-4 win at number five by Assiego.
