DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern baseball aims to keep its in-conference momentum moving when it hosts Arkansas Tech in a three-game series March 25-26 at The Ballpark in Durant.

Game one is set for 2 p.m. on Friday, with a double-header on Saturday at noon.

The Savage Storm enter the weekend with a 14-16 record overall but are 9-6 in Great American Conference play after a three-game sweep at Harding, moving its conference winning streak to four games and seven of its last nine in league.

SE is currently fifth in the league standings, just three games back in the loss column form co-leaders Arkansas-Monticello and Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Dylan Helms leads a group of five hitting better than .300, himself posting a .345 average with nine doubles, five home runs and 17 RBI out of the leadoff spot.

Greg Husnader is right behind at .341, followed by
Logan Terwilliger at .319,
Corban Taylor at .311 and
Kaleb Thomas at .303.

Helms, Terwilliger and
Brandon Grimsley are tied for the team lead in home runs with five each, while Terwilliger's 27 RBI lead the Storm.

Mike Wade has come on in conference play and now leads the team with a 2.56 ERA in nine appearances with five starts, putting together a 3-2 record with 40 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .184 batting average.

Matt Benedict is at 2.67 with a pair of wins, while
Scott Richards has a 3.68 ERA with two wins.

Brady Colbert each have a team-high three wins, while Colbert has also picked up six saves.

ATU enters the weekend with a 12-16 record overall and a 6-9 mark in GAC play, but is coming off winning two out of three from East Central last weekend.

Kaleb Warden leads a group of five players hitting over .300, doing so with a .337 average, a pair of homers and a team-best 16 RBI.

Geoffrey Birkemeier, leads the pitching staff with a 3-1 record, while Lane Norwood boasts a team best 2.70 ERA.

Zach Shelton has a team-best 39 strikeouts while Jesse Harbin has recorded seven saves.
