DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern sets out on its first in-state road trip of the season on Sept. 17 when it heads to Shawnee, Okla., to take on Oklahoma Baptist at noon.

The Savage Storm head into the weekend at 1-1 on the season after a 45-38 win over Ouachita Baptist in their home opener.

The Bison head into the contest at 1-1 as well after picking up a 19-14 home win over Arkansas Tech.

SE is also coming off a weekend in which
Kaymon Farmer and
Devlon Wortham each broke career records, with Farmer snapping the career receptions mark of 192, climbing to 200 by the end of the game, and Wortham scoring his record 28
th career rushing touchdown.

Farmer would end that game with 165 yards on eight catches with a pair of touchdowns, enough to earn Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

He would follow that up by learning this week that he was one of 24 players across all divisions and NAIA to be selected to the Allstate AFCA Good Works team for his efforts off the field both in the classroom and the community.

The Storm offense picked up in week two as
CB Cantwell turned in a 349 yard outing on 26-of-35 passing with four touchdowns in just his second career start.

Ronnie Green added a 109 yards and a TD on the ground as SE put up 548 yards of total offense.

The defense continued to make plays, forcing three fumbles and an interception and holding OBU to 4-of-7 on scoring attempts in the red zone.

The Storm is plus-three in turnover margin on the year and holds a net advantage of eight points in scoring off those turnovers.

The Bison are averaging 13.0 ppg and allowing 26.5 per outing, despite a 19-14 win in its matchup with ATU a week ago.

OBU is averaging 263.0 yards per game of total offense, led by 152.0 per game through the air.

Dezmond Stegall leads the passing attack at 34-of-60 passing with 304 yards on the season and no scores, while the rushing attack is led by Isaiah Mallory who is averaging 81.5 yards per contest with three touchdowns on the ground.

Josh Pettijohn has picked up 10 of the team's 34 receptions for a team-high 98 yards.

Brynden Pitzner leads the defense with 18 tackles over two games, while as a team they are allowing 384.0 yards per game of total offense, including 280.0 ypg of rushing.
