DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern's
Anna Buiukian has been named the Great American Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week following a weekend in which she posted a perfect record in singles and doubles play over a trio of conference foes.

The wins lift her record to 12-2 in doubles play with her partner
Samantha Coquinos, while individually she has moved to 10-3 on the year.

In doubles play on the week, Buiukian and Coquinos opened the weekend with a win at two doubles, downing Arkansas Tech's number two pair 8-6.

The duo would follow up with an 8-3 win at two doubles against Henderson State, picking up the team's lone doubles point.

They would close the conference road swing by cruising to an 8-0 win over Ouachita Baptist's number two pair by an 8-0 score.

Buiukian would follow up in singles play with a 6-3, 6-3 win at number two in the victory over ATU, and added a second win against HSU the following day, edging out a 6-1, 7-6 (7) win.

She was ahead 5-1 in the opening set of her final match of the weekend against OBU when the match ended with the Storm winning 5-0.
