DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern aims to get back in the win column when it returns home to host No. 14 Ouachita Baptist at 6 p.m. on Paul Laird Field.

The Savage Storm come into the matchup with a 1-1 mark on the season and in Great American Conference play after a 34-28 loss a week ago at Oklahoma Baptist.

The Tigers come into the matchup at 2-0 after a 41-8 home win over Southwestern Oklahoma State a week ago.

SE has had the better of the recent series between the two schools, taking the last two matchups which included a 41-35 win in Arkadelphia, Ark., a season ago. However, OBU does own the all-time record in the series 32-18-4 as the meeting will be the 55
th between the two programs.

The Storm will continue looking to the run game where
Kenneth Burks is averaging 118.0 yards per game on the ground and 5.5 yards per carry while scoring four touchdowns. As a team SE is averaging 203.5 yards per game on the ground.

Austin Skinner has added 65 yards and two rushing scores on the ground and will look to do damage through the air as well where he has completed 63.8 percent of his passes for 167.5 yards per game and three touchdowns.

Jaylen Sims who has hauled in 10 catches for 113 yards over two games and a pair of touchdowns.

The Storm defense will need to continue to be stout against the run as they have held opponents to 99.5 yards per game and 283.5 yards per game of total offense.
