Zinara Lesley posted a top-10 finish to pace Southeastern to a seventh-place team finish at the Mustangs Invitational in Wichita Falls, Texas, over the weekend.

Lesley was just off her personal-best pace from her last outing but was still fast enough to earn an eighth-place finish after stopping the clock with a time of 19:10.6.

Rachel Wynn was next in for the Storm after clocking a 20:10.5 which crossed in 22
nd, while
Megan Rose followed her in with a time of 20:25.1 which was good for 28
th place.

Ashley Martinez-Medina posted a time of 21:33.6 to finish 46
th, with
Madelynn Coffey next in with a mark of 21:54.7 in 54
th place.

Amanda Rodriguez crossed in a time of 22:51.5 to finish 63
rd, while
Bailey Pritchett rounded out the Storm runners in 68
th place with a time of 23:10.6.

Southeastern's cumulative finish score of 153 was good for seventh place, actually tied with Science and Arts of Oklahoma, while both teams were just behind Texas Wesleyan with a 139 in fifth.

Oklahoma City took the top spot with a score of 57, followed by host Midwestern State in second and Southwestern Oklahoma State in third.

SE was 31 points ahead of North Central Texas in eighth, as well as Great American Conference foe Southern Nazarene in ninth.

Saturday's meet wrapped up the regular season schedule for the cross country squad who will be back in action on Oct. 23 when it travels to Searcy, Ark., for the 2021 Great American Conference Championship.
