STILLWATER, Okla. – Southeastern ran at the 6k Cowboy Jamboree on Friday morning and placed 18
th as a team with a score of 551.

No. 1 BYU led the 19-team field with a score of 34 points and was joined by nationally ranked No. 13 Oklahoma State (2
nd) and No. 3 New Mexico (3
rd) in the top three. Among the top 10 finishes, the No. 1 NJCAA team, Odessa, placed ninth with a combined score of 303, while Division II member No. 23 Fort Hays State finished tenth with a score of 319.

Leading the Savage Storm lineup,
Katlen Clem put in the fast time of the 6k event for SE, touching the line at 23:53.8 to place 134
th individually. On the heels of Keene,
Anahi Machuca crossed the finish line with a time of 24:09.8 to grab a 140
th-place finish.

Next to cross the line for the Storm,
Devyn Doakes and
Ashlen Clem finished in quick succession, as Doakes placed 163
rd with a time of 25:05.8, while Clem took 167
th at 25:10.4.
Genevi Martinez and
Mireyda Samper finished back-to-back with times of 25:44.2 and 25:57.1, respectively.

Anjelika Abraham followed the duo at 26:12.6 to place 177
th, and shortly after,
Cassandra Vargas crossed the line for a time of 26:16.5. Once again, the blue and gold had back-to-back finishes, as
Naomi Cotero completed the event at 26:31.6, and
Aereonna Cardenas finished at 26:36.8.
