Volleyball Set for Battle of the Storms at SNU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern returns to Great American Conference play and closes out a five-match road trip when it takes on Southern Nazarene at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28 in Bethany, Okla.
 
The Savage Storm are looking to snap a five-match losing streak which dropped them to 7-14 overall on the season and 4-7 in league play which is tied for seventh.
 
That 4-7 mark gives SE a one-game lead over SNU who is in ninth-place and heads into the contest with a 2-8 mark in GAC play and a 9-12 record overall on the season.
 
Last time in in a non-conference loss at Texas A&M-Commerce, Skylor Lewis and Caroline Griffith led the way on offense with six kills each, while Jadyn James added five and Madison Martinez chipped in four.
 
Ruthie Forson dished out 21 assists and tacked on a pair of kills on offense, while adding seven digs on defense.
 
Grace Shehadeh led the defense with 16 digs, while McKenzie Turkoly was next in line with nine.
 
SNU is paced on offense by Whitney Bowie's 2.55 kills per set, while Breckynn Myers has dished out 7.54 assists per set.
 
The Crimson Storm defense is led by Madeline Lynch along the back row with 4.22 digs per set, while Bailey Grimes' 85 blocks lead the team at the net.
