DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will return home after seven-straight road contests to host a midweek meeting with Northeastern state with a single game slated for 2 p.m. at Mike Metheny Field on March 23.

The Savage Storm head into the contest with a 10-6 record on the season and are coming off of back-to-back road series victories in Great American Conference play.

SE opened that seven-game road trip against the Riverhawks back on March 9, falling in Tahlequah, Okla., 11-10.

In that contest,
Matt Miles put together a 3-for-5 outing with a pair of solo homers and three runs scored, while
Colton Buckner and
Rylee Holmes each added two hits.

Richard Ware,
Seth Morrow,
Slayde Ortiz,
Joseph Ramirez, and
Dylan Herd each added one hit.

Miles was the only SE player with multiple RBI, finishing with two, while Ware, Morrow, Buckner,
Reid Rice, Ramirez, Holmes, and Herd each drove in one.

On the season Morrow has been a force, hitting .509 with seven doubles, a triple, and six homers with 25 RBI.

Dour others are batting better than .300, with Miles and Buckner each connecting on four home runs and driving in double-figure RBI.

Dylan Turner got the start in the first meeting, but tossed just 3.0 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits with a pair of K's.

NSU comes to town with a 10-4 record on the season and has won four of the six matchups since last facing SE.

Blake Freeman leads the Riverhawks with a .439 average, while Brayden Rodden has hit .386 with six homers and 23 RBI.

Seth Key collected the win when the teams last met, tossing 4.1 innings and allowing four runs on six hits.
