DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern baseball will be looking to get back on track in Great American Conference play when it hosts Southern Nazarene for a three-game series March 5-6 at Mike Metheny Field. Game one is slated for 2 p.m. on Friday, with Saturday's twinbill set for a Noon first pitch.

The Savage Storm head into its second weekend of conference competition with a 3-3 record overall on the season, but are 0-3 to open league play.

The Crimson Storm comes into town at 0-5 overall to open the season and are coming off an 0-3 start to their GAC schedule.

Dylan Herd who is hitting .421 to start the year with a pair of doubles and a team-high four runs scored.

Seth Morrow is next in line at .400 on the season, also with a pair of doubles as well as a home run and four RBI.

Slayde Ortiz leads the club in RBI with six, while Ortiz, Morrow,
Colton Buckner and
Matt Miles have each homered.

Mason Whitmarsh is the only Savage Storm starter to have logged a win through two weekends of competition, despite the trio of Whitmarsh, Potter, and
Tyler Dean having a combined ERA of 4.55 over six starts with 25 strikeouts in 27.2 innings of work as a group.

Jacob Biugham has been the busiest Storm pitcher with 9.0 total innings pitched over four appearances with a 1-0 record and a 0.00 ERA with eight strikeouts.

Logan Teske is the only other pitcher with four appearances and has picked up the team's lone save.

SNU is led on offense by Jarrett Phillips who is carrying a .417 average with a homer and an RBI, while Austin Glock has a team-best three RBI.
