DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will be hosting the final non-conference midweek home game of the 2021 season when it welcomes Central Oklahoma to Mike Metheny Field for a single game on April 13 at 3 p.m.

The Savage Storm will be looking to carry the momentum of back-to-back wins to take the series over the weekend from Southwestern Oklahoma State, including a dramatic come-from-behind victory in the finale that ended on a
Hayden Evans walk-off grand slam.

Those wins lifted the Savage Storm to 13-13 overall on the season heading into Tuesday's contest.

SE and the Bronchos are longtime rivals who have seen their number of meetings drop considerably since departing for separate conferences in 2012.

The teams have played just 12 times from 2012 till now, with the Storm trailing 3-8-1 over that time.

Southeastern will be looking to keep the offense moving, highlighted by
Seth Morrow who ranks among the league leaders in hitting with a .427 average, 35 RBI, 16 doubles, and eight home runs.

Colton Buckner leads a group of three players hitting better than .300, turning in a .320 average and driving in 20 runs with six homers and four doubles.

The Storm pitching staff is led by
Jacob Potter with a 3.57 ERA and 38 strikeouts, while
Tyler Dean and mason Whitmarsh each have three wins.

Logan Teske has a pair of saves, while
Kenneth Klier,
Jacob Bigham, and
Coby Langford have one apiece.

UCO comes to town with a 14-11 record on the season and are 2-2 over the past week.

The Bronchos are led offensively by Garrett Takamatsu who is hitting .425 on the season with four homers and 20 RBI. Kyle Crow paces the club in homers and RBI with nine and 27, respectively.

Brayden Nelson leads the UCO pitching staff with a 2.93 ERA and a 5-0 record, while Beaux Bonvillain has record three saves.
