DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will hit the road looking to make up ground in the Great American Conference race when it takes on Ouachita Baptist in a three-game series April 17-18 in Arkadelphia, Ark.

Weather forced an adjustment to the schedule, with a doubleheader now slated for Saturday beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a single game at noon on Sunday.

The Savage Storm come into the weekend with a 13-14 record overall on the season and a 9-12 mark in GAC play and currently in ninth place, needing to make up ground to get into the top eight and earn a berth in the conference tournament.

The Tigers enter the series with a 9-19 record overall on the year and a 5-16 mark in league play.

Southeastern is paced offensively by
Seth Morrow who ranks among the best in the GAC in nearly every offensive stat category while hitting .424 with 13 doubles, nine homers, and 40 RBI.

Colton Buckner is next in line with a .324 average bolstered by eight home runs and 24 RBI.

The Storm pitching staff is led by
Jacob Potter who is 2-1 with a 3.57 ERA over six starts and seven appearances that include a shutout and 38 strikeouts.

Mason Whitmarsh have each collected three wins and have 31 and 33 strikeouts, respectively.

Logan Teske has a pair of saves, while
Jacob Bigham,
Coby Langford, and
Kenneth Klier each have one as well.

OBU is led on offense by Cade Burris who is hitting .299, while Louis Steen paces the club in home runs with five and RBI with 25.

Cooper Timmons has put together a 3-2 record with a save and a 5.66 ERA and 38 K's over 15 appearances, while Luke Scaggs has started a team-best eight games and is 1-6 with a 5.51 ERA.
