DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern is set to host its final home series of the season when it welcomes Henderson State to Mike Metheny Field for a three-game series April 24-25.

Game one of the series is set for a 2 p.m. contest on Saturday, while the final two games are slated for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Sunday.

Saturday's opener is also set to be Senior Day for 11 Savage Storm players playing in their final home series at Southeastern.

The Savage Storm come into the series with a 13-17 record overall and a 9-15 mark in Great American Conference play, fighting for its postseason life with nine games remaining on the schedule.

SE is currently holding ninth place, 3.0 games back of eighth with nine to play, with HSU being one of the teams they are chasing for that spot and a berth in the conference tournament.

The Reddies come into the series with an 18-13 record overall and a 13-11 mark in league play and are coming off a series sweep of East Central.

Southeastern has leaned on its offensive efforts which have been led by
Seth Morrow who ranks among the GAC's best in every major offensive stat category as he is hitting .405 with 13 doubles, two triples, 10 home runs, and 43 RBI.

Colton Buckner is next in line with a .315 average along with eight home runs and 26 RBI.

Slayde Ortiz has also reached the 20 RBI plateau, while
Reid Rice has added four homers and eight doubles.

On the hill,
Tyler Dean and
Mason Whitmarsh lead the trio of weekend starters with three wins each, while
Jacob Potter's 4.60 ERA and 38 strikeouts paces that group.

KC Bryan boasts a team-best 3.78 ERA over nine appearances, eight of them in relief, and four different pitchers have recorded saves for the Storm, with
Logan Teske leading the way with two.

The Reddies are led offensively by Kaden Argenbright's .374 average and he has added five home runs and 29 RBI, while Joe Myers has provided the teams power with nine homers and 41 RBI.

Spencer Taack leads the way on the hill for HSU with a 5-1 record and a 3.43 ERA to go with 41 strikeouts.
