ARLINGTON, Texas –
Zinara Lesley shaved more than a minute off her previous season best mark to pace Southeastern to a sixth-place finish at the Gerald Richey XC Invite on Saturday morning in Arlington, Texas.

Lesley posted a 21
st-place finish in the 5K event that was primarily comprised of Division I programs, carding a time of 19:14.7.

Megan Rose crossed next for the Savage Storm with a time of 19:44.4 which was good for 29
th place.

Ashley Martinez-Medina was third in line for SE, crossing in 37
th overall with a time of 20:35.6, finishing two spots ahead of
Rachel Wynn who clocked a 20:40.0 to place 39
th.

Bailey Pritchettwas next in line for the Storm with a mark of 22:03.6 which was good for 44
th place and two spots up on teammate
Madelynn Coffey who posted a 22:16.6 to finish 46
th.

Southeastern's 149 points was good for sixth place, finishing just behind Tarleton State in fifth.
Â
SMU took home the top spot with 22 points, followed by host Texas-Arlington, then North Texas, and Texas Christian.

Texas Wesleyan rounded out the seven-school race.
