DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern will look to build on its victory from last week as it makes its longest in-state road trip when it travels to Alva, Okla., to take on Northwestern Oklahoma State on Oct. 15 at 2 p.m.

The Savage Storm are coming off a 35-32 win over Southern Arkansas which evened its record at 3-3 on the season.

In that outing the Storm posted its best rushing effort of the year with
Deundre Wheeler putting up 139 yards and three scores while SE finished with 195 as a team while adding 236 yards through the air and posting its fourth-straight 400-plus yard offensive outing.

The effort lifted Wheeler to 495 yards rushing on the season with seven touchdowns, while
Jason Ngwu,
Ryan Hirt, and
Caleb High have each found paydirt on the ground.

Daulton Hatley continues to lead the conference through the air with 1,905 yards and 14 touchdowns while completing 65.7 percent of his passes.

His top target is also the top receiving threat in the nation as
Marquis Gray has racked up 835 yards on 46 catches with seven touchdowns.

Katrell Blakely is next in line in receptions with 33 for 252 yards and a touchdown, while
Duce Pittman has a pair of scores with 21 catches for 210 yards.Â
Matthew Nunez is second in line for reception TDs with three.

Maalik Hall leads the defense with 46 tackles overall, while
Ja'Lon Freeman and Micah Rogers each have at least 30 stops on the year.

NWOSU comes into the weekend with a 1-5 record after picking up its first win of the season over Arkansas-Monticello last week.

The Rangers are averaging 19.5 ppg while allowing opponents to put up 41.0 per contest.

The offense is putting up 225.3 yards per game passing on the efforts of Tanner Clarkson who is averaging 190.8 yards per game with seven touchdowns.

Torrence Stevens has been the top target for NWOSU on the year with 35 catches for 407 yards and three scores, while Travis Romar has a team-best four receiving touchdowns.

Clarkson is also the team's leading rusher with 325 yards on 72 carries with two touchdowns, while Darian Gill has 238 yards on the ground and three rushing scores.

Alejandro Aaron leads the team on defense with 47 total tackles, while Juan Licea, Chima Ozz, and Brian Holiday have four tackles for loss each.
