The loss brings SE's regular season to an end with a 6-5 record.

The Storm finished with 203 yards of total offense, doing most of its damage on the ground with 154 yards rushing while being held to a season-low 95 yards passing.

Ryan Hirt led the way on the ground for a second-straight week with a season-high 99 yards, while
Jason Ngwu added 33 in the effort.

Daulton Hatley was held to 95 yards passing on 14-of-29 with a touchdown and two interceptions.

Braxton Kincade led the receiving corps with 41 yards on three catches, while
Marquis Gray had his lowest output of the season with 13 yards on three grabs with a touchdown.

The Storm defense was somewhat solid in holding the Tigers to 249 yards of total offense, with
Maalik Hall leading the way with nine tackles and a season-high three sacks.

Braeden Winters put together a nine-tackle outing in his first start, while
Cameron Tate added eight stops, two of them for a loss.

Jaiveon Gardner and Micah Rogers combined on a fourth Storm sack and Gardner would tack on a blocked field goal.

ECU got on the board first as Kenny Hrncir connected with Jayquan Lincoln for a 19-yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead with 2:52 to go in the first quarter.

The Storm would answer on their ensuing drive which carried into he second quarter as Hatley capped a 59-yard drive with a two-yard touchdown pass to Gray with 14:28 to play in the second quarter.

SE would get a stop on defense but ECU would end the ensuing Storm drive with an interception, and would cap the following drive with a Nemier Herod three-yard run to take a 14-7 lead with 8:04 to play in the half.

The Tigers looked to cap the half with a field goal in the final seconds of the half, but
Jaiveon Gardner would block the field goal try to keep the score 14-7 at the half.

Trey Keatts would cap SE's first drive of the second half with a 28-yard field goal to cut into the deficit and close to 14-10 with 7:45 to play in the third quarter.

The teams would trade fruitless drives over the rest of the third quarter, with ECU putting together an 83-yard drive over 11 plays with Hrncir scoring on a five-yard run to take a 21-10 lead with 10 minutes to play.

That extended to 28-10 when Jalen Baldwin ended the next Storm drive with a pick-six with 8:47 to play.

The Tigers would tack on a late field goal to make the final tally 31-10.
