SHAWNEE, Okla. – Southeastern made the short trip to Shawnee, Okla., for the Great American Conference Championship meet on Saturday where they put together an eighth-place finish with 209 points.

The Savage Storm finished ahead of Southwestern Oklahoma State who was in ninth, while Northwestern Oklahoma State, Henderson State, and Arkansas-Monticello rounded out the competition.

SE finished 31 points back of Southern Nazarene in seventh, while Southern Arkansas finished sixth.

Ouachita Baptist topped the race with 42 points, just in front of Arkansas Tech who was second and Oklahoma Baptist in third. Harding finished fourth while East Central was fifth.

Makensi Greenwood led the Storm with a run of 20:06.8 which was good for 38
th, while
Sarah Coblentz was next in line with a 20:22.1 to cross in 45
th place.

Devyn Doakes turned in a 20:35.6 to finish 51
st, while
Alexis Longoria turned in a 20:46.8 which was good for 54
th.

Arne Kesterson was the next SE runner in after clocking a time of 21:04.1 which placed 63
rd.

Allie Brown crossed in 72
nd with a run of 21:17.3 and was followed in by
Madison Rowe who was next across for SE with a 21:50.4 which ranked 82
nd.

Rachel Wynn was next across with a 22:29.9 which was good for 99
th, while
Savannah Sandoval was not far off her pace with a time of 22:57.8 which was good for 100
th place.
