Southeastern Hosts RSU on Tuesday

DURANT, Okla. – Coming off a series victory in it conference opener, Southeastern will jump back into non-conference play for a 2 p.m. matchup against Rogers State on Feb. 22 at Mike Metheny Field.
 
The Savage Storm come into the contest with a 9-3 record overall on the season after picking up a 2-to-1 series win over No. 14 Arkansas tech to open Great American Conference play.
 
SE is paced by Reid Rice who is carrying a .432 average on the season with two doubles, a triple, four hem runs and 14 RBI.
 
Cameron French is right behind with a .421 average, three doubles, a triple, three homers and 14 RBI.
 
Richard Ware leads the team in home runs with five and RBI with 15.
 
SE has four pitchers who have a start and carry an ER under 4.00, led by Cole Canuteson who has a 2-0 record with a 2.25 ERA across three appearances,
 
Meanwhile, Kenneth Klier has recorded a pair of saves in six appearances with a 1.23 ERA>
 
RSU comes to town with a 4-6 record after winning four-straight which snapped a six-game losing skid to open the year.
 
Jesse Holguin leads the Hillcats with a .447 average that includes three doubles, a triple, a home run and nine RBI.
 
Nathan Chase has a 1-0 record to lead RSU pitchers with at least one start and carries a 1.64 ERA.
