DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern makes a return trip to Arkansas looking to bounce back when it travels to Arkadelphia, Ark., to take on Henderson State on Oct. 1 at 2 p.m.

The Savage Storm come into the matchup with a 2-2 record looking to shake off an unexpected loss to Southern Nazarene, while the Reddies also enter the weekend off an upset defeat to Southern Arkansas which dropped their record to 3-1 on the season.

The SE offense has been among the best in the nation through the air as
Daulton Hatley has amassed a league-leading 1,353 yards through the air while completing 62.1 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns.

His primary target on the year has been
Marquis Gray who is ranked second nationally in receiving yards with 596 on the season and has scored a touchdown in each contest on the year.

Katrell Blakely has hauled in 20 catches for 152 yards while
Duce Pittman has added 18 for 169 and two scores.

The Storm ground game has faced its challenges on the season as
Deundre Wheeler leads the way with 307 yards on 57 carries with four scores.

The Southeastern defense is led by
Maalik Hall who leads the conference with 10.5 tackles per game, while
Josh Mulumba, Micah Rogers,
Ja'Lon Freeman, and
Conner Swope each have 20-plus tackles on the year.

Hall has also posted six tackles for loss and three sacks, while
Kevin Simes has added 3.5 TFL and a pair of sacks.

HSU comes into the contest off a 28-24 loss to Southern Arkansas in which the Mulerider put up over 300 yards passing.

The Reddies come in leaning slightly more on the passing game with Andrew Edwards putting gup 864 yards and 10 touchdowns while completing 67.1 percent of his passes.

His number one target on the year has been Xavier Malone who has 281 yards on 20 catches with six touchdowns, while Chris Hatzis has 207 on 13 grabs.

Korien Burrell leads the HSU running game with 354 yards and five touchdowns on 59 carries.

Defensively, Jakob Neel and Tim Jennings lead the way with 20 tackles apiece, while Shaq'ke Robinson paces the team with four sacks.
