FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Southeastern turned in a sixth-place finish in the Women's Prairie Fire 5K run at the Chile Pepper XC Festival in Fayetteville, Ark hosted by the University of Arkansas.

The Savage Storm finished with 175 points, just seven points behind fifth-place College of the Ozarks, and 15 points ahead of conference rival Southern Arkansas in seventh.

The Savage Storm was led by
Alexis Longoria who placed 26
th and timed 20:35.5, and she was followed by
Madison Rowe who finished 28
th and clocked 20:44.6.

Yazmin Reyes was the next to cross, placing 31
st with a time of 20:55.5, meanwhile
Arden Kesterson placed 36
th with a mark of 21:07.9.

Savannah Sandoval followed in 54
th and clocked a time of 21:57.4, with Ashlynn Vasquez next in with a time of 22:19.7 in 63
rd place.

Aeronna Cardonas rounded out the Storm runners in 74
th with a run of 22:19.7.

Southeastern will be back in action next at the Old Glory Gallup in Dallas, Texas at DBU on Saturday Oct. 7.
