DURANT, Okla. – For the second time this season Southeastern's
Damon Burroughs has been named the Great American Conference Player of the Week, this time following his efforts in a series win over Henderson State.

Burroughs, a junior from Pryor, Okla., raised his season average more then 20 points after hitting .538 over the three-game series versus HSU which the Storm took games two and three to win the series.

He went 7-for-13 in three games with a triple and two homers while driving in seven runs and scoring six of his own.
Â
He finished with a 1.154 slugging percentage and a .600 on base percentage while adding a 3-for-3 effort in stolen bases, all while playing error-free first base in two of the three contests.

He would be the game-winning run in the series finale, scoring on a
Matt Miles walk off sac fly, and would put together a homer and six RBI in the 15-7 win for the Storm in game two.
