SE Picks Up Six All-MIAA/GAC Honors

DURANT, Okla. – Juan Gonzalez and Marin Jurkovic highlighted a total of six All-MIAA/GAC honors picked up by the Savage Storm men's tennis team on Tuesday.
 
Gonzalez, a junior from Corrientes, Argentina, and Jurkovic, a junior from Zagreb, Croatia, were both first team selections while also picking up honorable mention honors in doubles play as a duo.
 
Gonzalez took home his honors at number three singles, while Jurkovic picked up first team singles honors at number five. The pair as a doubles team was honored at the number two position.
 
Diego Orduz, a senior from Bogota, Colombia, added a second team honor in singles play at number six, while adding an honorable mention doubles honor with partner Thabo Ncube, a junior from Harare, Zimbawe, at the number three position.
 
Gen Nayara, a junior from Perth, Australia, added an honorable mention selection in singles at number four singles.
 
The Savage Storm enter the MIAA/GAC Postseason Tournament to face Washburn on April 19 at 2 p.m. in Edmond, Okla.
