DURANT, Okla. – After breaking through with a huge homecoming win last weekend, Southeastern will now have to turn its attention to its first nationally ranked foe of the season when it travels to Arkadelphia, Ark., to take on No. 5/9 Ouachita Baptist at noon on Sept. 30.

The Savage Storm head into the contest with a 1-3 record on the season following its 41-2 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State in its last time out.

SE was able to flip some trends for the first three games, highlighted by posting a 220-yard rushing performance that was led by
DJ Brown who has 134 yards and three touchdowns on the season to this point.

Ryan Hirt added two touchdowns and 72 yards on his first four carries of the season.

As a team, the Storm has lifted itself to 101.3 yards per game on the ground with six rushing scores.

Bryce fields continues to lead the way in the passing game with 707 yards and six touchdowns while completing 48-of-91 passes.

Duce Pittman and
Kaleb Whitley have snagged 12 catches apiece with each catching a touchdown and with Whitley leading all receivers with 226 yards through the air.

Marquis Gray,
Gyasi Smith,
Hunter Hawthorne, and
Matthew Nunez each also have a receiving TD.

The defense forced a pair of turnovers in its last outing with
Michael Hookfin and
PJ Larry each grabbing an interception, while Hookfin leads the defense with 24 total tackles as well, as 4.5 tackles for loss.

Kevin Simes is among the GAC leaders in sacks with 4.0 in as many games.

OBU comes into the weekend at 4-0 on the season after putting together a 45-25 win over Arkansas-Monticello in its last trip out.

The Tigers are led offensively by Kendel Givens who has 396 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground, while Riley Harms has completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 937 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Harms top target has been Connor Flannigan who has 21 catches for 404 yards and three scores, while Keemontrae McKnight, Chris Hightower, and Givens each have two receiving touchdowns.

Josiah Johnson leads the defense with 37 total tackles, while Chancer Taylor has a team-best 3.5 sacks.
