BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Southeastern women's golf has their first competition in the books after finishing 17
th at the Central Region Preview in Blue Springs, Mo., on Sept. 5-6.

The Savage Storm carded a 36-hole total of 689 after posting an opening round score of 354 and shaving that down to a 335 on day two.

Jayli Feeley led the way for SE, posting an opening round 84 before bouncing back on her second circuit of the course with a 77 to finish with a 161 in a tie for 42
nd.

Carley Button was next in line and carded a 90 to open the event before bringing her round-two total down to an 85 to finish in 81
st with a 175 overall.

Hailey Richard was right on her heels, posting back-to-back rounds of 88 to turn in a 176 which finished tied for 82
nd.

Hope Walthall opened her event with a 92 and closed with an 86 to bring her final tally to 178 which finished 85
th.

Lucy Handley rounded out the Savage Storm golfers with a 92 to open play and an 87 to close it out to bring her two-round total to 179 which was tied for 86
th.

The Storm will hit the links again on Sept. 11-12 at the NSU Women's Invitational at Cherokee Hills CC in Tahlequah, Okla.
