DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern athletics is set to open Spring season action and will be hosting the Spring edition of Calm Before the Storm presented by Choctaw Casino and Resorts on Jan. 29 at 11:30 a.m. in the Turf Room of the Sports Performance Center in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium.

Lunch will be provided, and the event is open to the general public including alumni, fans, corporate partners, and community members.

Those in attendance will hear from featured speakers including softball coach
Mackenzie Sher, baseball coach
Zach Crabtree, men's and women's golf coach
Sydney Youngblood Blanton, and men's and women's tennis coach
Brian Nelson, along with athletes from each of those sports.

Southeastern Director of Athletics Keith Baxter will also give remarks, while Jay Lindly, sales manager at Mix 96.1 FM and the radio voice of the Storm on the Southeastern Sports Network, will be the emcee for the event.
